{"id":151,"date":"2020-02-26T20:23:45","date_gmt":"1970-01-01T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/drumbrus.fr\/?p=151"},"modified":"2025-09-03T19:05:04","modified_gmt":"2025-09-03T17:05:04","slug":"vr-4-jv","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/drumbrus.fr\/en\/vr-4-jv\/","title":{"rendered":"VR 4 JV"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Introduction<\/strong><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">\nVirtual Reality project for the e-artsup school of Nantes, made since 2016.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">On this project, I was a programer (2018), then worked on the management, Game Design, and as lead programer (2019).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\nThe experience works with HTC Vice, and is currently being updated for Oculus Rift.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class='embed-container'><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1080\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/x1TJEfun8nw?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Development<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">The VR4JV project is a virtual reality experience, in which you explore some scenes, made by fusioning two of Jules Verne's worlds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">This project comes from a call from the city of Nantes, in the context of the upgrade of the Jules Verne museum.<br>Started in 2016, this project is focused on the visuals and discovery, with only some interactive aspects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">In 2018-2019, I had to update the project for Steam VR 2.0, which completely remade the VR system.<br>As for the 2019-2020 year, I had to manage the project, with the addition of a new world, mixing \"In the year 2889\" and \"An antarctic Mystery\".
